What if I need to go home for an emergency?
We understand emergencies happen from time to time. Please be aware however, that OPAIC cannot approve absences during the study block, as it is a requirement of your student visa that you are in the country and attending classes.
If you choose to be away for more than 14 days we are required to terminate / defer your enrolment, and advise Immigration NZ, who will cancel your current student visa.
